Obituary of Richard J. Wessely

Richard J. Wessely passed away on June 19, 2024.  He was 91 years old.  Dick, as he was known to friends, was born on February 12, 1933.  He lived in Ridgewood all of his life.  He worked for Eastern Airlines but volunteered to better his community.  He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Matthias Church and a longtime member of the Ridgewood Property Owners and Civic Association.  He loved organ music and fast cars.  A funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 6^th at 10:15am at St. Matthias Church, Catalpa Avenue in Ridgewood.
