Obituary of Paul Patrick Ferrara

Paul Patrick Ferrara, age 76, passed away on Monday, June 17th at his home in Rockaway Point, in the early evening after spending a wonderful day with his wife. Paul leaves behind a legacy of laughter, friendship, and generosity.

Paul was born on September 17, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, to Jerome and Margaret Ferrara. Paul served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and graduated from Long Island University. Paul married the love of his life, Marianne, and they made their home first in Old Mill Basin, Brooklyn, where they raised three children, and then later in Rockaway Point and Hilton Head Island. A man of many talents, Paul worked at the FDA, as Director of Regulatory Affairs at Estee Lauder and finally, as a business consultant.

Paul is survived by his wife, Marianne, his daughter Therese and her husband Thomas, his son Christopher and his wife Rosanna, and his daughter Susan and her husband Joseph. Aside from Marianne, Paul's greatest love was his grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Ryan, Christopher Paul Jr., and two more babies on the way that he will always look over and protect. Paul is also survived by his brothers Charles (Carol), and Jerome (Jacqueline); his sisters Geraldine (Bob) and Bernadette, and countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  He is predeceased by his sister Nancy (Edward).

Please remember Paul in your thoughts and prayers as the fun loving, story telling, loved person that lived his life to the fullest.
