You were the Godmother to every friend I had growing up but in reality I always knew I was extra special knowing you actually were MY GODMOTHER I know we say you are gone way too soon, or this may not have been when you wanted to go but you and I both know it was never by your time and only his. You were a woman who spoke only the truth, whether one wanted to hear it or not. You offered insight when I needed a second or third opinion at times.I’m so beyond grateful you were able to see me marry and become a mom. You were so supportive and I still can hear you tell me over and over, no matter how hard it gets you and Joey are an amazing team, and those boys enjoy them. How I wish you could have held and played with the boys one last time, but I know this good bye was never a permanent good bye. For us it was always a see you later. I loved that about you and I loved recently your embrace for God. I thank the Lord everyday for opening your heart to his love and his hand out to hold yours. You held so many amazing stories of my infancy and childhood and I will not forget them. I love you beyond measure and this is not a good bye, it’s a see you later Aunt Elizabeth until we see one another again in that most amazing place called Heaven. Xoxo

I will miss Liz. I was honored that Liz trusted me enough to share her joys and her pain with me. I have rarely met a person who was a more shining example of Christian love. Liz gave, even as she suffered silently from her own pain and grief. She never said, "no."
Liz loved her husband, her son, her family and her friends from the depths of her heart. She loved strangers in a way that made her love visible. She was kind, always aware that her position in life granted her opportunities to help others.
I believe Liz is in a comforting place, a place in which she can receive love and peace, where she can laugh and sigh. I am grateful that she no longer experiences earthly pain.
I am grateful that Liz walked this earth and that, for a short period of time, I was able to walk with her.

Times Like this is where I wish I can go back and just speak to you one last time. I'm sorry for how things got between us. You were and still are an amazing aunt and great aunt to the kids. I'm grateful that my kids got to experience how much love, compassion and happiness you would bring to everyone around you. You were truly an amazing and strong woman. You are now happily united with your son and your dear family members and fur babies in heaven now. Robert has gained another amazing, loving and caring guardian angel, that will help him during his most difficult days. We love you very much Aunt Elizabeth and we will greatly miss you.
Love always,
The Vasco Family

Oh my goodness it was so sad to hear of your passing. I was in complete shock. You were such a beautiful person inside and out. So loving and nurturing. I loved the many times we spoke and you would just calm me down. You had such a kind soul. You were so funny too when we used to bowl together you Cathy mom and me we had great times together. So many years and so many wonderful memories. Now you are reunited with your son Stephen. You will be forever missed. I love you.
