Obituary of Herta Kraker
Herta Kraker was born on May 14th, 1941 in Gottschee, Austria. She emigrated to the United States at a young age, and settled in Ridgewood, NY. Herta married the love of her life, John, on June 4th, 1960. Together they built a family and made a loving home for 32 years until John’s passing in 1992.
In addition to spending time with her family, Herta was a devoted parishioner at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Queens. She had a unique sense of humor, loved her foreign TV shows, coloring, and puzzling.
Herta is survived by her sons John (Linda), Charles (Vera), and Kenneth, granddaughters Christina, Stefani, Elizabeth, and Jessica, brothers Walter and Joseph, uncle Ernst, and their families.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Herta's name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
