Saying goodbye to a parent is never easy and my heart goes out to those who called her Mom, Grandma, and even great Grandma.
I had the distinct honor of calling her "Tante." Over the years, each of our phone calls ended with her inimitable utterance -- "I love you Neetee." I can still hear her saying that. If I could tell her one more thing, it would be, "Rest in peace, Tante. I love you too."
