Obituary of Victor Manuel Marrero

Victor Manuel Marrero, Jr., 39, of Washington Township, NJ, was tragically taken from us on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Victor was born May 14, 1983, in Brooklyn, New York. He was a strong-willed resourceful child with a lot of energy. He excelled in sports, especially basketball and enjoyed music and rapping. Victor was a dedicated partner and father and did everything in his power for his children, including giving his life to protect them. Victor is survived by his long-time partner Sherry Beatty, his three kids, daughters Aaliyah Iris (13), Maya Lolita (8) and son Jahlias Francis (4); mother Audrey Sandoz (David Alvarez) and father Victor Marrero, Sr. (Donna Marrero Zaldivar); siblings Jessenia De Los Angeles, Christina Leandra, Nicholas Victor, Danny David, Victor Carlos, and Arianna Julia; grandparents Luz Osorio and Ana Colon; his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Thomas Michael. A viewing service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Morton Funeral Home, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, New York 11385 and cremated the following day.
