Obituary
Obituary of Herbert W. Koerber
This morning our Dad went to be with our Mom. He will be missed dearly but wd are happy that he is back with Mom. He was a great husband to his beloved wife Margaret, father to his daughter and son Lisa and Theodor, father in law to Francis and Cathy and proud Opa to Zachary. He was loving and caring and had a good sense of humor. He was an essential worker before they were called essential workers. He volunteered for the Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps in the late 70’s to the early 2000’s and was the president of the corp for several years. He got his fair share of hard knocks from life, who didn’t, but he went through it all with a smile and quick wit. He loved going to church and that was a big blow to him when he couldn’t go because of the pandemic. But he never lost his faith or love for God. I wish we had more time with him but he was getting tired and was saying he wanted to go home. God speed Dad. We will miss him dearly.
