I met Vincent through my mother Mary and brother Frank Juvan. He invited me out to lunch many times and was a man of great faith and strong convictions. We wrote letters to each other during the holidays and Vincent sent me clippings about health, nutrition and about saints. We also talked about the many trips he went on and which he enjoyed the most. He like to hear about my past or upcoming trips. He knew that I lived on the beach and gave me a pair of binoculars. Whenever I use them I think of him.
My mother was invited to his apartment many times, where everyone would enjoy a meal, watch a movie and have a discussion. She was a good friend to him and was there when he needed a friend. Vincent lived a long, happy life just like he wanted. I do not think he would have changed anything. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
