Obituary of Joseph Delgado

In loving memory of Joseph (Slim) Delgado 1950-2022 Please join us to celebrate the life of “Slim” and pray for his soul. Slim left our world on January 18, 2022 at 3:53 AM to be with our Savior Jesus Christ. His love and dedication to our mother was immeasurable. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle and true friend to so many people all over this country. His boisterous laugh and smile was infectious! However, most importantly was his tremendous heart. Slim was always the first to send out birthday cards, Christmas cards etc. Never forgetting the little things that really matter. He was a bright light with a soft and sweet presence known and loved by so many. Joseph Anthony (Slim) Delgado, 71 of Brooklyn, N Y passed away on January 18, 2022 in Wyckoff Heights Hospital. Funeral services will be at Morton’s funeral home on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2 PM to 6 PM with father Stephen lynch officiating. Burial will be on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10 AM at Linden Hill cemetery, 323 Woodward Ave., Ridgewood, NY 11385. (section E-1 - Starr St. entrance) Joseph A. Delgado is survived by his mother Elba Delgado. Sisters: Gloria Cona, Martha Teriaco, Miriam Delgado and Annie Delgado-Gallagher. Brothers: Edwin Delgado and Anibal Delgado. Nieces: MaryAnn Bartlett, Angela Cona, Antoinette Laieta, Dianna Tortorici, Judy Fringo, Jackie Fringo, Jennifer Cabrera. Nephews: Benny LaCommare, Anthony Cona, Christopher Fringo. Preceded by: Father Emerano Delgado and Brother Eddie Delgado.
