Obituary of Marshall J. Tucker
Marshall James Tucker was born to the late James and Sara Tucker on October 8,1947 in Brooklyn, NY. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 7,2021.
He served his country, in the Army in 1968 to 1970. He was a Private first class. He received an honorable discharge for his service and also received a Purple Heart. He worked on Rikers Island as a cook. Marshall loved to cook. He worked as a truck driver working all over the many states and retired at the age of 65. Marshall loved life, he loved his family and his friends. He was always the life of the party.
Marshall received his elementary education at PS 177 and secondary education from Seward Park Educational Campus in 1965 in the Lower East Side.
Marshall shared his life with his loving partner of 18 years Claretta James. Together they raised two children, Jovan and Yvonne James and their grandchild Jaden.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his three sisters Rinda Henderson, Bonnie Williams and Lenora Tucker. His two brothers Larry and Phillip Tucker. His daughters Eugenia, Takenya, Shanae, Shanette, Deborah and his sons Lakeen and Antoine. His grandchildren Chance, Karim, Elias, Wesley, Dayvon, Savannah, Sean, Nala, Christian, and Keyanta. Great grandchildren Jaiden and Jace and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
