Obituary of Elvira T. Grosse

Elvira T Grosse was born on October 10, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, to Italian immigrant parents Joseph and Maria Turano. Elvira grew up with one older brother, Frank, and one younger sister Mary Ann. Elvira went to school at night and worked during the day, eventually earning a B.A degree from C.U.N.Y.. She then worked as a school secretary in the NYC public school system for many years. Elvira married Charles F Grosse, a Brooklyn school teacher. They went on to have two daughters, Rosemary and Carla. Elvira is survived by her daughters as well as three grandsons, David, Michael and Daniel. She was loved by all of her family and friends.
