I pray this is not Maria Verderber who was my classmate at Grover Cleveland High School, class of 1967. If it is I give my deep condolences to her family. The Maria Verderber I knew and remember is a very special person. She shined as a student and was a very warm person with a lot of wit. She had a keen sense of humor. As a group we had fun talking about things a lot of kids didn’t talk that much about. It was a mix of politics, culture, music, and personal observations.
