Obituary of Albina Fink

Albina J. Fink of Ridgewood, NY passed away after a period of declining health on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the age of 91. She was the wife of Josef Fink, who predeceased her in 1985, and mother to Joseph W. Fink, who predeceased her in 1995. Albina is survived by four remaining children: John W. Fink of Forest Hills, NY; Ann Marie Maichin of Marlborough, MA; Elizabeth R. Dwyer and her husband Michael of Seminole, FL; and Carolyn J. Potamianos and her husband Constantine of Austin, TX. She also leaves two grandchildren: Diana M. Maichin of San Francisco, CA and Steven J. Maichin of Marlborough, MA. Albina was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Sacred Heart League at St. Matthias Church for many years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Matthias Church on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 10:15 A.M. followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/ Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, NY.
