I am saddened by the news of Eddie's passing but also deeply stirred to run the race that is always before us: to know Christ in a greater way and communicate His love to a dying world. May we determine in our hearts to follow Christ as Eddie followed Him!!

My wife and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to Pastor Eddie's family.
Back in 2014, Pastor Eddie officiated our wedding in Vienna, Virginia. Through the process, we have realized that he is truly a humble and wonderful servant of God. Both my wife and I regard him to be the kindest and friendliest person we've known.
We've truly lost a great friend and will look forward to seeing him again when we all meet in heaven!

I extend my deepest sympathies to Susan and all your children, the Waldvogel family, your Church family and the many friends who will miss Eddie in the places where we connected with him. He became Eddie to me when we counseled the boys in Natick together in the early 70's. More recently, I will miss Eddie at Prayer Retreat. He was a very gracious host.in both natural and spiritual things. I was amazed that he would take time to look me up on the Monday after the Noon meal to say good-by for another year. I am still stunned that Eddie is gone; but take great joy in the Promise of the Future Resurrection and Reunion of the Family of God. Grace to You All.

There will be so much said about our "Bro." Eddie that one scarcely knows where to begin. So, how about the beginning? Our first recollection of Eddie is either 1975 or 1976. We were saved in the summer of 1975 in Floral Park and soon became involved in the many activities of the churches in the fellowship. After one Friday evening service we met Eddie - someone winked at us and nodded toward Susan. He was grinning from ear to ear and Susan was beaming. Theirs was the first Christian wedding we were invited to and we were so blessed to be there. We've been blessed to see their children grow and serve the Lord. We were amazed at how the Lord has used Eddie since his father passed away.
But the twinkle in his eyes was something that cannot be forgotten even through our tears. Now this man of God is with his Lord in a better place.

I was shocked when my great -niece, Amanda Quinones informed me of the passing of Eddie Waldvolgel. I grew up in Ridgewood Pentecostal church and since he and his twin sister Grace were only one year older than me I remember them well. Many years later, when my son, Eric served on the staff of Pilgrim Camp, Brother Eddie befriended him and encouraged him.
I know he received, "Well done , good and faithful servant" when he entered the Lord's presence. I would like to express my condolences to Susan and his children, their spouses and his grandchildren. I will be praying for the family as they walk this difficult road.
Love In Christ,
Rose (Ann) Kreuzer-Detweiler

It was 1959 and I was thrilled to serve as waitress at Pilgrim Camp. Not being experienced, I was terrified of being placed in the adult dining room and so glad to be assigned to the children's dining room. My most vivid memory of Bro. Eddie and his twin sister, Grace, was when they were in the Cottage and while serving their table they would try to tickle me. They were precious and won my heart over forever.
Fast forward many years, I will always remember how Bro. Eddie had a special way of opening our hearts to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Camp services. The love of God poured out of every word spoken that was such a blessing and will be greatly missed. Bro. Eddie loved books. I came across a book written by Billy Graham "The Heaven Answer Book". He reflected on the passing of his wife, Ruth, and how she requested that the inscription "End of Construction" be on her tombstone. I actually understood what it meant and while it does not take away the pain of our loss, Bro. Eddie had attained that perfect level of possessing the love of God and God needed him in heaven. I'm sure he already heard the words "well done thou good and faithful servant".
To Sis. Susan, his children, and the entire Waldvogel family, my deepest sympathy. We share your pain and will keep you in our prayers continually. May God hold your hearts in His hands and surround you will all the comfort you need at this time.
With much love and sympathy,
Lydia Rodko

My dear beloved friends and family in God,
I know that God is still with us during this. He promised to stay with us, always. I'd like to share the baptism verse that was shared with me, by Brother Eddie.
Deuteronomy 31:6: Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
This verse has been so true in my life and have been blessed that Brother Eddie shared it with me.
I hope that at this time, it gives you the peace which passes all understanding, that is still here, even now.
All my love,
Melissa

On behalf of the staff at Queens County Savings Bank you will be missed. The genuine smile and kind words was natural to you. The staff chuckled when you walked in minutes before closing but we looked forward to having to serve you. We complimented you on coming sometimes earlier and than normal. You will be greatly missed and not forgotten.

I am still in shock and feel such loss of a great man. I grew up at the Williamsburg church with my family The Babajew and Rodko family so we knew Brother Edwin and his family well. I will always remember his soft spoken words that really spoke to the soul.
A verse given to me when my mother died, "He carries you in his arms".
Isaiah 40:11
He does and he will during this time. My prayers and deepest sympathy to the family.
