Adrian "Ady" beloved son, brother, uncle, and devoted husband, passed away at the age of 66, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born in Bucharest, Adrian carried with him throughout his life the warmth, resilience, and spirit of his Romanian roots.
At the age of 21, Adrian came to the United States in search of opportunity and a better future. He made his home in Queens, where he built a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and deep devotion to those he loved most.
Adrian was the cherished son and caregiver of his mother, Janeta, whose care and companionship were among the greatest priorities of his life. He was a loving older brother to his sister Mirela, and a proud and caring uncle who treasured time spent with family.
Later in life, Adrian found lasting companionship and love in marriage, bringing joy and comfort to his later years.
Adrian also found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time at his vacation home in Treadwell, where fishing brought him relaxation and contentment. As a young man, he was passionate about building model airplanes and boats, a hobby that reflected both his patience and creativity. His skill and dedication led him to participate in competitions, where his craftsmanship was admired by many.
Those who knew Adrian will remember his quiet strength, generosity, sense of responsibility, and deep love for family.
His life was one of perseverance, devotion, and kindness, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Janeta; his sister, Mirela Rittgers, and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Rittgers; Nieces and Nephews; Nikola and family; Niko and family; Domi and family; Mark and family; Wife Adina; extended family; and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
