Obituary of Maria A. Aleman Cruz
Maria A. Aleman, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 4, 2025. Born in El Salvador in 1933, she lived a full and joyful life rooted in faith, family, and love.
At the age of 55, she courageously moved to the United States, where she continued to pour her heart into her family and her faith. A professional baker by trade, she shared her talent generously—her delicious creations brought joy to countless celebrations and family gatherings. Later in life, she lovingly dedicated herself to caring for her grandchildren, becoming the heart of her home and the source of endless comfort and wisdom.
A proud cancer survivor, she was a woman of remarkable strength and unwavering devotion to Jesus. She spent her days singing hymns, reading the Bible, praying for others, and joyfully sharing the good news of the Gospel in her community. Her faith was her foundation, and her life was a true reflection of God’s grace and love.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and her love of music, cooking, fashion and dancing. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Morris. Her legacy lives on through her two children, Walter and Cecilia (Judith), her grandchildren, Gissell, Kimberly, Tannya, Walter Mauricio, Marcello & Charlie, her great-grandchildren, Devin, J.J. and Bruce, and sister Margoth—each of whom carries a piece of her vibrant spirit.
Her family takes comfort knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, rejoicing in eternal peace. All who were touched by her life are welcome to join in celebrating her memory.
