Condolences to the Lotrijan family from the Charles family across the street. We can remember when we first moved in 24 years ago, John and his family were so warm and welcoming. John was always the guy who had a big bright smile ni matter the situation and has a positive attitude. Encounters with John were always energetic and at times would be capped off with his own moonshine, which by the way would knock you down, even for the moderate consumer of alcohol. He was so encouraging as he would walk the streets of Howard Beach to maintain his great physical shape. He often times wanted me to join him when he observed me beginning my weight loss journey. He would give me tips that made sense which I adopted into my regiment.
John will be sorely missed by his friends on the block and I’m sure by the masses of friends and family that he as. Rest well John and may God contienue to watch over your family.

My dearest Tata, I love you so much. Words cannot describe how it feels not to have you here with us. I don’t know how I’m going to do it with you gone but I know that you will always be watching over me and protecting me. Since I was a little girl , I always loved coming over to go on walks with you, going in the pool, and just always being able to hangout with you. You made so many amazing memories in my life and I will never forget any of them. You always were able to make me laugh when I was down. You always knew how to make me feel better. You taught me how to always forgive people and to be the better person. You taught me so much from when I was born to now. I can’t imagine my world without you. It will take a long time for me to heal but I know that you will be with me forever in my heart guiding me. I know you’re in peace now and you’re not suffering anymore. You never gave up on anything even when you were not well. You were such a strong and brave man and I will forever remember that. Now that you’re in heaven , I know that you will be watching over us like an angel. You will always be a big part of my heart.You were the best grandpa anyone could ever ask for and I’m so grateful you were my grandpa.I love you so much Tata meu.

So sorry to hear about John’s passing. I always enjoyed being around John as he was always so friendly to me and he was fun to talk to. He felt like one of the guys. He was a cool dad to me and I’m sure for you guys too.

We are heartbroken by the loss of our friend Rogoz. He was such a positive person who always lifted our spirits, even on our hardest days. Anyone who had him in their life knows what a light he was and how lucky we all were to have him. I just wish God had given us all more time with him. You will be greatly missed. Hi Lotrijan family, i remember John so energetic and enthusiastic about his walks and honestly was an example for me to make some time and dedicate it to our health too, a man so smart and sweet, super polite and eager to help with whatever it was. Thank you John I will remember always, rest assured knowing your family has friends in us The Alegres. My dearest Tata meu the hole that is left in my heart will never be repaired without your presence. I cannot dare to imagine a world without you in it, but now that is my harsh reality. Not only were you my grandfather, but you were the father I never had. You taught me everything in life and now I am lost without you.
