It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alex Selezniov, 81, of Ridgewood, Queens, NY. He passed away on March 12, 2025, at 3:40 AM at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital NYC.

Alex was born on February 28, 1944, in Ukraine. He embarked on a journey that led him to travel around the world before settling in the United States, to live the American dream, where he built a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to his career, wife, and family.

A skilled machinist, Alex took great pride in his craft, known for his precision, dedication, and craftsmanship. He was respected for his work ethic and ability to create with his hands, a skill that served him well throughout his career.

Throughout his life, he was always there for others, offering his love, guidance, and unwavering support to anyone in need. His generosity, warm smile, and kind blue eyes left a mark on everyone he encountered.

Alex was always happy to have a chat and a laugh if you were lucky enough to catch him in front of his house. Whether the conversation turned to cars, current events, or just a good joke, he always had a way of making people feel welcomed in his home, always happy to share a meal and leaving them with a smile. His  knowledge, quick wit, warmth, and easygoing nature made him a friend to many. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
