Obituary of Evelyn Pabon

Evelyn Pabon, age 69, passed away on February 13, 2022. She was born December 8, 1952 in San Juan Puerto Rico to the late Margarita Rivera and Jose A. Maldonado. She graduated from Clara Barton High School and soon after married Manuel Pabon. Evelyn lived in Brooklyn, she worked as a home attendant until she had to care for her ill mother. When her mother passed away she decided to dedicate her life to her family. She cared for her children, niece, nephews, younger sister Iris and her grandchildren. Evelyn was humble yet proud at the same time, she was private and strong, devoted and loyal very overprotective. She loved music, she loved to cook, she loved to read and care for her plants. Mom had a green thumb. Above all she had unconditional love for her family and friends, Evelyn was a woman of faith. She practiced her Catholic religion to the day she died. She encouraged her love ones to have the same faith. While she was at the hospital she text us “Yes she loved to text us “ “Believe in God and pray for me!” Evelyn is survived by her husband Manuel Pabon. Her father Jose A, Maldonado. Her daughter Mireya Pabon. Her son and daughter-in-law Manuel and Yvette Pabon. Her brother Jose Maldonado along with Suzanne, Daniel, Justin, sister -in law Miriam and Paula. Followed by the apples of her eyes—her grandchildren and great grandson. Evelyn Ashley Montesdeoca and Dunkin (four legged great-grandson), Kelvin Jay, Kiana Jay, Julie Ann Pabon, Lenny Zagara (Nico) and baby Carter Storm. Evelyn will be laid to rest on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Linden Hill Cemetry. We believe that on her journey through Heaven she will be reunited with her beloved mother and sister. ~And Mom if you are reading this which I know you will. ~Thank-you for everything, your moral upbringing, your time, your unconditional love and most of all your patience with us all. “WE LOVE YOU MORE!”
